Hyperhydrosis
Botox is licensed in the UK for treating localised hyperhidrosis of the armpits. Small doses are injected into the skin blocking nerve supply to the apocrine sweat glands and preventing the glands from producing sweat.
This doesn’t cure hyperhidrosis but provides temporary relief and needs to be repeated every five to six months for maximum effect.
Currently, Botox has only been approved for the treatment of underarm sweating , but can be used for Palmar (hands) or Plantar (feet) hyperhidrosis.
All our facial aesthetic treatments are carried out by our lead Dentist, Dr Giso.
As a well trained dentist with years of experience you are in the best of hands. Dr Giso has in-depth knowledge of the facial structures and will discuss with you at length the best possible treatment for you that will suit you and help you address any concerns you have.
